I always enjoyed review games when I was in school. I think they are a fun way to reinforce material. In addition to this, if I didn't know an answer I would get the chance to learn it from someone else. I think you have some excellent examples and ideas.

That's a very good point. You essentially are asking the same question, however the wording is different. I think that the way in which something is worded makes all the difference. I like you're idea, and I hope it's okay if i borrow it for later use.

As a student, I would hate to write essays to evaluate my knowledge. But as a future teacher, I think the layout you have is an excellent idea. Normally I do pretty well on writing assignments, but when I'm pressed for time I start to get frustrated and confused at what direction my writing should take. Your idea of having a layout where the students know how many main ideas and supporting details to have is a great way to organize one's writing. I think it also makes the whole writing and essay process a whole lot easier.
Oh, and I will be revisiting your blog for the next 3 weeks as part of my assingment for my EDM 310 class. Here's a link to my blog: http://foxstacyedm310.blogspot.com/
